Everflon™ PTFE MV3: Dynamic Durability Additive

Everflon™ PTFE MV3 fluoroadditive is a white, free-flowing PTFE powder designed for use as an additive in other materials or as a high-performance dry lubricant. Engineered for resilience across an extensive temperature range (from -190 °C to 250 °C), MV3 dramatically improves the lubricity and wear properties of base materials. It is highly valued for its ability to provide improved lubricity and wear in plastics and elastomers and enhanced performance in lubricants operating under severe conditions.

Performance Under Load

MV3 significantly improves nonstick and antifriction properties in the host material. Typical loadings of 5-20% by weight are utilized in various engineering plastics (including polyamides, polycarbonates, and polysulfones) to reduce friction and wear. It is also an effective slip and rub resistance enhancer for water and solvent-based inks at low concentrations (1-3% by weight), making it a versatile workhorse for surface modification.
